The growing law firm of Keffer Hirschauer LLP is hiring an associate attorney to join our office’s criminal defense practice group. The firm’s practice areas include criminal defense, family law, representation in Title IX matters, andpersonal injury and other civil matters, as well as related ancillary practice areas.
Keffer Hirschauer LLP is a litigation focused law firm. Any applicant should have at least 2-5 years of experience as well as knowledge of courtroom demeanor and expectations, and experience litigating in evidentiary hearings, bench trials, and/or jury trials. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, understands the timely nature of litigation work, has excellent advocacy and communication skills, and can excel in a team-based atmosphere.
The applicant must be licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana and in good standing. The applicant will be expected to immediately take on an active litigation caseload of criminal defense matters ranging from misdemeanors, felonies, and post-conviction matters, as well as to appear in court hearings as required. A pleading and motion practice will be expected as well as a willingness to travel throughout the state.
