BUSINESS LITIGATION ATTORNEY

We are expanding our business litigation practice group and searching for a collaborative thinker ready to deliver the highest level of legal representation to our valued clients. CPM Business Litigation Attorney candidates can expect to provide legal advice and guidance to clients on diverse legal matters and manage multiple projects under minimal direction. The successful candidate will be expected to tackle complex litigation in state and federal court from their first day.

Essential Functions
- Cultivate current client relationships and attract new clients
- Manage a case docket from start to finish
- Maintain and independently handle all assigned cases, and report case progress to the practice group leader
- Collaborate, communicate, and cooperate with CPM’s team on assigned cases
- Provide exceptional legal services to clients
Qualifications
*Juris Doctorate Degree from a nationally accredited law school
*Admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio
*Admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio
*Three (3) years of general litigation experience
*Strong research, legal writing, document review, and organizational skills
*Practical experience in depositions, oral argument, and in court
*Ability to identify risks and propose alternative approaches to mitigate risks
*Work collaboratively in a team environment
*Entrepreneurial-minded approach toward developing new client relationships
